Release of the Doctor Who DVD Boxset!

The 2010 series boxset will be released in the UK on 8th November 2010 and in North America on November 9, 2010, in DVD and Blu-ray formats.

This is what will be available in the discs:

  • Additional scenes: Meanwhile in the TARDIS, written by Steven Moffat and featuring Matt Smith & Karen Gillan, telling the story of what happens between episodes. Why was Amy floating in Space above Starship UK, and what happened after ‘that’ kiss between the Doctor and Amy?
  • Monster Files – The Monster Files will get under the skin and inside the minds of the latest Doctor’s most challenging opponents. With previously unseen footage and exclusive comments from cast and crew, the Monster Files take fans old and new even further behind enemy lines.

The first part of the Doctor Who series 5 finale is rapidly approaching. But what is the Pandorica? And what will its opening means for the Doctor and Amy?

As we rapidly approach the climax of Series 5 of Doctor Who in the modern era, rumours are rife as to what might occur in this episode. Here are some potential spoilers.

What is the Pandorica?

It is believed that the Pandorica is some sort of legendary prison which contains some of the greatest evils the universe has ever witnessed. Could the opening of the Pandorica be what is causing the cracks in the universe? And what is causing the Pandorica to open? And just what is lurking on the inside?

Old Enemies Await Once The Pandorica Opens

Fans know for definite that the Cybermen feature in this particular episode or the subsequent second part, “The Big Bang”, as they have been featured in the series trailer. However there is also the possibility that original classic series cybermen might also return and not just those created by Cybus industries.

There are also strong suggestions that the Daleks may reappear once more and these would be the re-designed Daleks that were created during “Victory of the Daleks”. There is also the possibility that the Sontarens may return too. Essentially any enemy caged within the Pandorica could be released and this might lead to the production team creating new foes or utilising existing ones.

The ninth episode of the 5th Doctor Who‘s season is called Cold Blood, it’ll air  on BBC One the 29th May 2010 by 7PM (be sure to watch it.). Here are the informations we founded about the future episode.
